New Retro Console The Analogue Pocket Will Start Shipping Preorders Starting December 13, 2021
The Analogue Pocket is a new retro console that will let you play your favourite old retro games.
In a tweet via its official Twitter channel, Analogue has announced that it will start shipping the preorders of the Analogue Pocket, starting from December 13, 2021.
Like so many other consoles like the PlayStation® 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam Deck and others, the Analogue Pocket too has suffered from the ongoing chip shortage crisis and supply chain troubles, problems that are currently being faced by almost all of the tech companies. These problems were further complicated by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The consoles originally had the target shipping date in May, 2021, which then got delayed to October, 2021. It now seems like they will finally start shipping this December.
Everyone who had placed a preorder should have received an email with the updated shipping date for their order. Regarding the date when the consoles would actually be delivered, Analogue have provided with an estimated delivery date that ranges between December 14, 2021 and December 30, 2021.

For those who will be unable to receive their packages under any circumstances, such as travelling during the holiday season, they can request to put a hold on the shipping of their package and select January 3, 2021 as the new updated date.
In case the address of the receiver has changed, Analogue has also provided the provision for them to change and update it with the new address where they want the package delivered. All of this, i.e., updating the address or changing the delivery date, however, must be done before November 28, 2021.
The Analogue Pocket, priced at $ 200, sold out within a record sixteen minutes of the preorders going live. Analogue has assured that this would not be a limited edition product. The company will be restocking and therefore, there is a good chance that those who could not get their hands on the console during the preorders, might be able to do so once they restock.
