Right from the moment we came across Silco, in Arcane, we for one, wanted more of it. We believe, we were only echoing the thoughts and sentiments of many. It is almost common sentiment that such an antagonist should not be restricted to the show alone.
Many even felt that with Silco’s character arc intertwining with and shaping the characters of Vi and Jinx, the two main protagonists of Arcane, it was only a matter of time before he made an appearance in League of Legends.
However, in a turn of fates, Riot Games have decided to introduce “Arcane’s hottest undercity overlord”, Silco, as a “TFT exclusive unit to the Gizmos & Gadgets mid-set in February”. Silco would be Teamfight Tactics’ first unit “independent of League of Legends’ champion roster”.

In the announcement on Teamfight Tactics’ news blog, it was stated, “Typically, we’re able to adapt League of Legends champions to Teamfight Tactics, with, well, a lot of work, but Silco isn’t coming to League of Legends, so we’ve had to build him from the ground up”.
It is still early days and Silco’s kit is, as of yet, still under construction. However, the blog stated that, “he will be a Mastermind when it comes to combat”. The blog also mentioned that while Silco was the first non-League character to join Teamfight Tactics, he might only the first in line of many more such characters.
What are your thoughts on Silco arriving in Teamfight Tactics? Which other characters do you think should join him? Do you think he would also be arrive in League of Legends, as well, sometime in the future? Let us know your thoughts!
